The ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club) is Europe’s largest automobile club, with more than 17 million members. In 1954 the ADAC started the «Strassenwacht» (road guard), that assist motorists in trouble. The «Strassenwacht» was on the road with 60 yellow BMW R60-, NSU and Zündapp motorcycle with Royal-sidecar. That is why the ADAC-Biker were called the yellow angels. A wonderful film from the fifties.
